Manga

So, today going back to hotel from Paris and I remembered that there is a manga shop in my way. Shop is called “Manga Loisirs”.  They have an amazing selection of mangas, dvd’s, t-shirts, etc…

I was searching “Elfen Lied” manga for a while now, so I thought this is my change to get a copy :) unfortunately, shop keeper said that this is realy old and all he have was DVD’s with Elfen Lied anime, which I saw like 5 times already… But, I bought 3 parts of manga of my 2nd favorite anime, see pictures below. Manga is in French, so it’s kind a good way to learn French and enjoy manga at the same time :)

Louvre Museum. Part 1

I’m not the person who gets excited about the sightseeing stuff, I rather choose coding C++ than getting out there looking at things… BUT, since the 1st of May is a public holiday and the weather was really nice today (past 2 weeks it was raining almost everyday in Paris…), I decided to visit Le Musée du Louvre.

I took a bus to the metro station, then, I took a metro to the museum. After an hour I was on the Louvre doorstep. And guess what.. that bastard is closed. Yesterday it was opened, tomorrow it will be opened, but not today..! So, anyway, since weather was a delight, I fulfilled my urge to go out somewhere by just walking around The Tuileries Gardens. Quite a huge park, I must admit… Anyway, I think I’ll visit Louvre again, when it’s open :)

Paris. Week 3

And here I am, two weeks in Paris at the moment… T – 52 weeks until I go back to Lithuania. So far, things was not that bad as I though they would be.. The main problem here, almost nobody speaks English here. 95% of the time, answer to my question:

“Es-que vous parle l’Anglais?”

I get an answer:

”Je ne parle pas l’Anglais monsieur.”

So, anyway, today I finally decided to buy an Orange prepaid card for local calls & mobile data. The price for the card is shocking: 20 euros! Back in the Lithuania, local prepaid card costs about 14 times less than here…
